EVENT: Winter Storm Watch
ALERT:
A winter storm system will move across the region Friday into
Saturday. Precipitation will begin as rain, before transitioning
to snow in the afternoon and evening hours, Friday. Periods of
moderate to heavy snow is likely Friday night into Saturday
across central Missouri. The heaviest accumulations will occur
after sunset, Friday, and through sunrise, Saturday.
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6
inches.

* WHERE...Portions of central Missouri.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Saturday evening. Heaviest
accumulations are expected to occur from late Friday evening
through Saturday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
